I’m told one time I jumped out of a plane;
\nI must believe it, since I can’t recall
\nif I at any point enjoyed the fall
\nor how on earth I came to earth again.<\/p>\n
Another time it’s said I bagged a lion,
\nAt least, the beast was dead and I was not,
\nAnd I had either passed out or forgot
\nThis hunting deed that would have shamed Orion.<\/p>\n
Since then I’ve tried to tread a calmer road
\nBecause I fret that when I reach December
\nWhat use such feats be if I can’t remember?
\nSuch pastimes as won’t make my brain implode.<\/p>\n
