{"id":204,"date":"2008-03-16T13:04:37","date_gmt":"2008-03-16T20:04:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.lucas-photo.com\/blog\/?p=204"},"modified":"2008-03-16T13:25:47","modified_gmt":"2008-03-16T20:25:47","slug":"schedule-updated","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lucas-photo.com\/blog\/2008\/03\/16\/schedule-updated\/","title":{"rendered":"Florida NPC schedule updated"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/floridanpc.org\" target=\"_blank\">official 2008 NPC schedule<\/a> is out, so I verified, expanded, and corrected the <a href=\"http:\/\/lucas-photo.com\/bodybuilding\/contests\/schedule\/query2008.php\" target=\"_blank\">search page<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve been working on a <a href=\"http:\/\/lucas-photo.com\/bodybuilding\/contests\/schedule\/newCalendar.php\" target=\"_blank\">new view<\/a> of the calendar but it&#8217;s barely our of pre-alpha stage&#8211; it doesn&#8217;t yet handle multiple shows on the same date, for example.  If I can ever clear the decks of backlog I&#8217;ll add &#8220;download to Outlook&#8221; and\/or &#8220;download to iCal&#8221; functions and let someone else worry about the calendaring.<\/p>\n<p>Also, on the main page, I updated the summaries to pull data directly from the blog, based on whether or not the blog post is slugged with the &#8220;site update&#8221; category.  That will save me updating the information in two places, as I nearly always give site update details in the blog anyway.<\/p>\n<p>As an aside, it&#8217;s reassuring to see so many contests now having their own individual information sites on the Web.
