{"id":2122,"date":"2016-07-05T00:17:15","date_gmt":"2016-07-05T04:17:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/lucas-photo.com\/blog\/?p=2122"},"modified":"2016-07-05T00:26:55","modified_gmt":"2016-07-05T04:26:55","slug":"2016-central-district-shots-up","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lucas-photo.com\/blog\/2016\/07\/05\/2016-central-district-shots-up\/","title":{"rendered":"2016 Central District shots up"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/lucas-photo.com\/bodybuilding\/contests\/2016\/centDist\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2057 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/lucas-photo.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/central2016p.jpg\" alt=\"2016centDistBW\"  style=\"margin-right: 15px\" \/><\/a>At long last, shots from the <a href=\"https:\/\/lucas-photo.com\/bodybuilding\/contests\/2016\/centDist\" target=\"_blank\">2016 Central District<\/a> are up on the site.<\/p>\n<p>I arrived late again, but it was actually not my fault for a change; I had vehicle issues that required some roadside engineering and a GPS that kept trying to drive me to Lakeland via the Douglas spread (wave to Zsa Zsa and Arnold!) <\/p>\n<p>That meant I had to scramble to get the first class comparisons and never did find time to set up the tether&#8211; unlike the old days, one the prejudging gets started it has very few breaks.  <\/p>\n<p>Lakeland Center being a very well-lit venue, though, I was able to get decent shots nonetheless&#8211; just don&#8217;t like the risk of shooting with only the viewfinder anymore, the tether is starting to spoil me.  :)<\/p>\n<p>More delays getting the shots processed followed as I was out of town for a week immediately afterwards&#8211; hope you saw the Arizona and Grand Canyon shots on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/michael.lucas.54\/photos_all\" target=\"_blank\">Facebook<\/a>&#8212; but over the Independence Day holiday I was finally able to carve out the time for the post-processing.<\/p>\n<p>As usual Deb Callahan put on a great show.  Next up is the Ancient City in St Augustine, including some new shots planned with <a href=\"http:\/\/lucas-photo.com\/bodybuilding\/bodybuilders\/sherryb\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sherry<\/a>, then the Gainesville Classic a couple of weeks after that.
