I saw this article in the local paper a couple of days ago (though it’s strangely missing from their Web site, hence the external link) claiming that experts have noticed kids are swearing more these days.

My question is: how does one become an “expert” in such a field in the first place, and with the economy dropping like a paralyzed falcon*, couldn’t we find something more productive for them to do, like digging ditches or something?
