I just heard that we have an Incident Response Coordinator, commonly referenced as an IRC.
To me, IRC is still the TLA for Internet Relay Chat. I’m old-school. Or just old.
It occurred to me that this is a prime example of what I have labeled a CRT: a Confusingly Recycled TLA.
CRT is, of course, itself a CRT.
